About the event
Research shows that Black and Asian individuals are significantly underrepresented at trustee board level in the charity sector –– even amongst charities that predominantly serve ethnic minority communities. To explore this complex issue, we have partnered with Action for Trustee Racial Diversity, to host an interactive event at the Royal Society of Arts.
Attendees will hear from a panel of experts in the area of race diversity who will set the scene, with the audience having the opportunity to share experiences, concerns and best practice. Our confirmed guests who will also play a pivotal role in the discussions, include:
• Representatives of Black and Asian networks
• Black and Asian trustees
• Individuals working to promote racial diversity, and successfully running racial diversity initiatives
We apologise that due to limited spaces at the venue, this event is by invitation only. However, we will ensure that key findings from this event are shared widely.
